During the manufacture of paper products Siltech’s silicones are used to improve various processes, from defoaming, drainage and better release. Silicones also are also used to improve the attributes of many final products by increasing their softness, absorbance or repellence. Because each mill operates under its own unique conditions, Siltech is happy to work collaboratively to formulate specific products for specific applications.
